History
Nova Southeastern University was founded in 1964 as Nova University of Advanced Technology. Ten years later, the name was shortened to Nova University, and two decades later it merged with Southeastern University of Health Sciences to form Nova Southeastern University. NSU currently offers degree programs and continuing education courses through four campuses in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area.
